In short

This site uses no tracking, measures no audience, and embeds nothing from third parties. We process only what is technically required to serve the page, and whatever you send us yourself through the contact form.

Hosting and server logs

Hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA.

Opening a page causes the server to process technically necessary access data: shortened IP address, timestamp, the address requested, browser type. This is required to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site.

Contact form

What you enter, meaning name, email address, the kind of enquiry and your message, is used solely to answer you.

Delivery runs through Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, USA). We do not store the messages. They are sent as email to info@uchastudio.com and afterwards exist only in our mailbox, which is operated by Tutanota in Germany.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR: your consent and steps taken prior to entering a contract.

Fonts

The fonts used are stored on our own server and served from there. Opening the site establishes no connection to Google or any other font provider.

Storage in your browser

We store exactly one thing locally in your browser: your choice between the light and dark appearance. It never leaves your device and is never evaluated.

No cookies requiring consent are set.

Transfers to the USA

Vercel and Resend are based in the USA. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers rely on that certification and on standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

An informal email to info@uchastudio.com is enough.

Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
