Studio
Ucha Studio joins design and engineering. We do not only shape how something looks. We build it, and stay with you from the first idea to a product that runs.
Ucha means colour in Igbo. So the four tones aren't decoration they're how everything is organised. They run through every tile, every page, every project.
We're based in Düsseldorf, a city with a long design history and people who look closely.
Our backgrounds are in computer science and communication design. Some of us also work behind the camera and on stage, and that changes how you see things. You start to notice when a frame lands, when a cut comes a beat too early, when someone reads as real and when they read as staged.
Everyone here has strengths and blind spots. What holds us together is that we care about the work, and that next year we'll be able to do more than we can today.

What we do
- Web & digital
No page builder, no project left half-finished for months. Concept, design and build happen together, in short reviews rather than big presentations.
Design here is not something you approve. It is something you take part in.
- Engineering & infrastructure
What separates us from a pure design studio: we come from computer science. We don't hand over a mockup, we build the thing and put it live ourselves.
- Built and shipped by us: we write the code and deploy it. Every change goes to a test environment first, then live. If a release breaks something, we roll it back in minutes.
- Code you own: you get the repository. Any developer can pick it up later, nothing is locked inside a tool only we can open.
- Secure by default: encrypted connections, one login per person instead of a shared admin account, passwords in a manager, no keys in the code. At handover every key goes to you.
- Film & photography
Video and photography from the shoot to the finished file, including editing, retouching and colour grading. Campaign material, product shots, editorial series.
The images fit the rest of the design because they come from the same house.
- 3D & motion
We build products, packaging and whole environments in 3D, from the model to the finished render.
A pack exists as an image before anything is printed. A colour variant is one click instead of another shoot.
One model gives you the still, the turntable and the cutout. And it can sit inside filmed material instead of next to it.

One contact, short paths, decisions made together. What you get at the end is not a puzzle but a project you understand and can carry on yourself.
